The shop, which has been at number 21 Ilsham Road, in the middle of Wellswood village, for nine years, is less
than a mile from Torquay harbour. (See Map for how to find us.) Since 2002 it has been under the personal
control of the current owners, Keith and Nicola. Access for the less mobile is easy as the shop is level with the
pavement and inside there is a ramp to the higher rear level.
Although the shop is not large we keep a huge range of stock covering areas such as artists’ materials,
commercial stationery, greetings cards, educational toys, craft materials, gifts,classical music CDs, children’s

site.
We are the premier artists’ materials shop in Torquay and stock, in depth, a large number of products from the
well-known Daler-Rowney brand as well as products from other suppliers.
In 2006 we have introduced classical music CDs from the world's leading classical music label - Naxos.
We normally stock what is probably the largest selection of jigsaws in the area, mainly from Falcon and Gibsons
Games.
Our ethos is to sell quality products in a friendly atmosphere at competitive prices. We like traditional games and
toys, which involve the recipient. We believe our customers are individuals and should be treated as such – this
can also mean that shopping can be fun!
Many of our customers live locally but a large number visit us from all corners of the country and beyond.
Regular holiday makers come and see us each time they visit Torbay to get those items they just can’t get
where they live.
